Our football education program at Barnet and Southgate College provides an excellent opportunity for 16 to 18-year-olds to train in a professional environment at the Juventus Academy whilst experiencing top-tier academic learning at our Colindale Campus. Our student-athletes will experience high-quality, competitive training sessions led by UEFA-qualified coaches, preparing for challenging weekly fixtures that assist in player growth and development.

Developing academic footballers through a vision which combines high level football with high level education ensures that you are prepared to fulfil your potential and succeed on and off the field

Whether you’re a beginner looking to learn the basics or an advanced player striving for excellence, our programs are tailored to help you grow, improve, and shine on the field and in the classroom.

This Academy offers both the teaching and development of football skills and educational learning, accompanying players in their growth. Regardless of the level of the participants, all activities will enable students to grow whilst supporting their mental and physical well-being.

As part of the study program offered by Barnet and Southgate College for students aged between 16 and 18 years old, students on this pathway can select from a number of full-time academic qualifications, including:

BTEC Level 2 Certificate in Sport (NQF)

BTEC Level 3 Diploma in Sport (NQF)

Aims and Objectives:

  • To promote overall well-being, develop skills, and foster positive values.
  • To provide elite football coaching and development to young players in line with the Juventus ethos, alongside a first-class, full-time academic education programme at our Colindale Campus.
  • To enable players to evolve their ability to play and enjoy the game, through a structured, consistent programme of training and competing.  This incorporates both physical, technical and social development.
  • To advise, guide and drive all students to succeed in achieving academic excellence, and supporting them in the next chapter of their career.
