  • Our A Level courses are all full time and are taught at the Barnet Campus.
  • Successful applicants will need to study a minimum of three A Level subjects as part of the package. Please note that you cannot apply for single A Level subjects.
  • The A Level package is for students aged 16-19.
  • You will discuss and commit to your three A Level course choices at a later stage (after your application).

THE A LEVEL PACKAGE

A LEVELS WITH SPORT

As an A Level student you can apply to join one of our highly successful sports academies such as our Football, Athletics and Basketball Academy. If you have applied to study A Levels this September and want to join an academy learn more here and sign up for a trial now!

Entry Criteria

For Maths and Sciences, applicants need five grade 5s or above and a grade 6 in a relevant subject.

For Humanities and Social Sciences, applicants need five grade 4/5s and a grade 6 in a relevant subject.

Individual subjects will have specific entry requirements -  EG for Psychology, students need a grade 6 in English or Maths or Science.

As always applicants grades will be looked at holistically and strengths in specific subjects will be noted during the application process.

Subject-specific requirements will be explained at your interview. You may have to take an aptitude test, either online or hand-written on the day of your interview.

If you have  qualifications from overseas, such as an International Baccalaureate, please come and discuss these with us – we consider these applications on a case-by-case basis.

In 2022 results across all the College's A Level subjects were again impressive, with many of these being awarded Grades A* - B.

In the A Level department, we treat our learners as partners and involve parents in supporting the journey to excellence. All lecturers and tutors are experienced, specialist A Level teachers; learners study in a vibrant, lively innovative environment. They can also get involved in extra-curricular activities such as our dance, self-defence, table tennis and yoga classes.

SUBJECTS

LOCATION

Our A Level Centre is based at the Barnet Campus. We support and encourage our students to aim high with both their academic studies and career aspirations, and as such our students have had offers from top universities such as Brunel University London, University College London and Cambridge. 

INCLUSIVE SIXTH FORM

This is an A Level programme for students who seek additional flexibility to achieve at A Level.

It is ideal for students who wish to engage with education whilst dealing with emotional issues such as anxiety, depression and eating disorders. It may also be appropriate for learners with other medical issues.

The course is for 16-18 year olds and offers a flexible nurturing approach to learning and the opportunity to complete a wide range of A Levels.

There are only 20 places available and potential learners should apply as soon as possible.

YEAR 14 REVISION AND RESIT PROGRAMME

This programme is for year 14 students who wish to boost their grade profile and progress to Higher Education.

The Revision and Resit Programme is a highly structured full time course and students need to maintain a focused dedicated approach to their studies.
