T Level Technical qualification in science is a two-year programme technical study programme at Barnet and Southgate College, aimed at preparing young people for work, higher level apprenticeships or higher education (HE). The purpose of the Level 3 TQ in Science is to ensure students have the knowledge and skills needed to progress into skilled employment or higher-level technical training relevant to the T Level.

What qualifications or experience do I need?
Five GCSEs at grade 5 or above, including English, Maths and Science
What will I study ?
Under Component 1 you will study the following: Working within the science sector; Ethics, data and managing personal information in the science sector; Health and safety in the science sector; Scientific methodology, equipment, and techniques. Under Component 2 you will study the following: Biology; Chemistry; Physics; Further Scientific Concepts. Under Component 3 you will study the following: Occupational specialism –Technical: laboratory sciences.
