The course is designed for learners at 19 years of age or older who want to progress to the L3 Access to Science course but do not have the GCSE English and/or maths. It is also ideal as a return to study science course for learners who want to progress to Level 3 Access to Science. This is a part-time day course run over 2 days.

What qualifications or experience do I need?
No formal qualifications are required although prior study of GCSE English and maths is desirable
What will I study ?
GCSE English and/or Maths Level 2 Science units in biology, chemistry and physics Note - Units may vary each academic year
How will I be assessed ?
GCSE English and/or Maths will be assessed through controlled assessments in college and by public examinations. ONCLR Level 2 Certificate in Skills for Further Study in Health and Human Sciences will be assessed by a portfolio of assessments moderated and validated by OCNLR.
What qualifications could I achieve ?
GCSE English and/or Maths OCNLR Level 2 Certificate in Skills for Further Study in Health and Human Sciences
