Level 3 BTEC Business students hosted an International Day as part of an assignment for their 'Managing an Event' unit. It was an uplifting event where students expressed their passion for their cultures through food, educating guests and dancing. Amongst the many countries represented at the event was Albania, Algeria, Cyprus, Ghana, Iran, Jamaica, Somalia, Somaliland and Turkey.
Curriculum Manager, Yusuf Malik, said: "It is so good to be able to have a forum for learners to celebrate equality, diversity and inclusion and take the lead on this. They did such a fantastic job and really represented the different cultures and places so well!"
Principal and Assistant Chief Executive, Neil Coker, said: "It was a great event and full of energy and enjoyment. Well done and congratulations to our Business students and staff for such a successful event."
