Hairdressing student wins prize in Lee Stafford photoshoot competition

Level 3 Hairdressing student Fatih Benhattate won a 'highly commended' prize in the recent photoshoot competition organised by Lee Stafford Education.

The aim of the competition, which included various categories such as styling, cutting and colouring,  was to provide learners with the opportunity to build their reputations as creative hairdressers.

Students re-created one of the Lee Stafford 'recipes' to produce a finished look for the high street, magazine, or social media page.

Photographs of the work were submitted and judged by Lee Stafford and his team.

We are delighted to announce that Fatih Benhattate was awarded a Highly Commended award for her entry into the Level 3 Cutting and Styling category. Lee announced the winners and said they had hundreds of entries from all of their partner Colleges.

Fatih received an engraved award from the LSE team for her success.

Curriculum Manager, Philippa O'Brien said: "In the time Fatih has been here she has done marvelously at all levels. This award is a confirmation of not only her commitment to hairdressing, but also the skills she has developed in her time at Barnet and Southgate College."
