The Enfield Southgate MP visited the College in the wake of it receiving an Ofsted 'GOOD' grade
Mr. Charalambous visited newly-refurbished areas of the Southgate Campus, including science labs, ESOL classrooms and electrical workshops, and then discussed further redevelopment plans with the Principal and Deputy CEO Neil Coker.
Neil Coker said:
"We always welcome visits from our political representatives; it's great to be able to show them what we're up to, share our successes and keep them up to date with our future plans."
Bambos Charalambous has been MP for Enfield Southgate since 2017.
Key sections of Barnet and Southgate College's Southgate Campus was recently redeveloped and modernised, and is the centre for the college's sports, electrical installation, and engineering courses, as well as hosting ESOL, Young ESOL, Foundation Learning and Supported Learning courses for learners with learning difficulties and/or disabilities.
The College is drawing up plans for further future investment in the campus at Southgate as it continues to provide high-quality learning and skills development to adults and young people across the communities it serves.
