A Level cultural day celebrates diversity of student backgrounds

The event, completely organised by students at the Barnet Campus, featured information about countries and cultures, dancing, performances, students wearing national dress and also samples of food from various regions.

Countries, cultures and cuisines featured included Nigeria, Cyprus, Somalia, Lebanon, Albania, Greece and Romania.

James Duckworth, Curriculum Manager for A Levels, said:

"This fantastic event showed a real sense of vibrancy, and illustrates a level of student engagement that goes well beyond the study programme."
