What qualifications or experience do I need?
Applicants will need a Level 1 assessment in Literacy or ESOL, 4 or more GCSEs at Grade 3 (D), an NVQ Level 1 Hairdressing or the relevant industry experience.
What will I study ?
Topics covered by the course range from basic techniques for washing and cutting men's hair and facial hair, creating basic outlines and detailing in hair colour, to how to advise and consult with clients and be effective at work.
How will I be assessed ?
Assessments will be through practical observations, oral questions and external written tests.
