These qualifications are primarily for 16-19 year olds, (but are also suitable for older students) wanting an introduction to the variety of construction trades, to gain skills in those areas and perhaps decide which trade is the right one to pursue a career in.

What qualifications or experience do I need?
It is desirable (but not essential) that candidates have an Entry Level or equivalent qualification in Construction Multi-Skills.
What will I study ?
You will study a range of practical construction skills at Barnet and Southgate College's Colindale Campus, such as carpentry, brickwork, plastering, plumbing and decorating.
You will also continue with Maths and English qualifications together with preparation for work experience.
How will I be assessed ?
Practical and theory assessments will take place throughout the course.
