These courses are designed to train students for a career in the plumbing trade
The emphasis is on hands-on training in specially designed workshops
Assessment will be through a mixture of practical tasks and theory tests
Students may work up to a Level 3 Diploma, and then follow an Apprenticeship route or seek employment in the industry

"The teaching is really good here and because I am dyslexic I get the extra support that I need, for example Sheldon one of the tutors went out his way after class, so I could learn a bit more. When I was at school the atmosphere was different and you’re mothered a lot, but here it’s more independent and I prefer it. The facilities here are great, we have two large workshops at Colindale Campus there’s lots of space and it’s great to work in. Everyone has been welcoming and it has been easy to make friends.

"They also prepare you for work, we did a course to help with self-confidence and it really helped with me getting a job interview. Eventually I want to do an apprenticeship, or a dream job would be an easy maintenance job or something like that but in 5 years’ time I hope to be working as a plumber."
