"I find the teaching on the course is great and the tutors have been very supportive, we have good banter but they’re patient tutors and its easy going and relaxed in class. Tutors go out of their way to go over and above for you; Winston stayed back later to help me when I was behind on practical work, Phil helps with materials and he takes the time to explain things to me.

"College life is so different to my previous education as you have the freedom to do things in your own time, work at your own pace. I like the Colindale Campus and facilities, the workshop is the best thing. College has also helped me with work placements at Barnet Homes and have offered vacancies to me. Being female within the industry has its positives and negatives. There are many reasons, but it’s mainly the different generation of workers that don’t get it sometimes, but I always get positive feedback and encouragement from some workers on site."
