What qualifications or experience do I need?
Applicants must have the following qualifications: 4 GCSEs including either English and maths at Grade 3 (D) or above. We will consider equivalent qualifications.
What will I study ?
You will study units including: The Online World, Technology Systems, Database Development, Building a Personal Computer. (Units may be subject to change.) You will also be required to complete a work placement as part of the course. Learners will have the opportunity to access additional skills, attitudes and behaviours to be able to access T-Level courses.
How will I be assessed ?
Each unit will undergo a variety of assessments internally. Additionally, two core units will be assessed externally via examinations.
What qualifications could I achieve ?
Upon successful completion of this course, you will achieve a Level 2 First Certificate in Information and Creative Technology, which is equivalent to 4 GCSEs.
