What qualifications or experience do I need?

Applicants must have the following qualifications: 4 GCSEs including either English and maths at Grade 3 (D) or above. We will consider equivalent qualifications.

What will I study ?

Units include but are not limited to: The Online World; Technology Systems; Digital Portfolio; Mobile Apps; Spreadsheet Development. (Units may be subject to change.) Learners will generally study maths and English alongside this course. - Learners will be given the opportunity to undertake work experience within the IT sector to help prepare them for progression and give them an overview of the different subject specialisms. Learners will have the opportunity to access additional skills, attitudes and behaviours to be able to access T-Level courses.

How will I be assessed ?

This course is assessed through coursework and exam units throughout the year.

What qualifications could I achieve ?

Upon successful completion of this course, you will achieve a Level 2 First Certificate in Information and Creative Technology, which is equivalent to 4 GCSEs.
