What qualifications or experience do I need?
A full Level 3 qualification in Beauty Therapy plus recent industry experience is required. Applicants must be aged 18 and over.
What will I study ?
The Level 4 Diploma in Permanent Hair Removal and Skin Rejuvenation qualification would cover the following mandatory Level 4 units:
- Perform hair growth reduction using IPL and LASER systems
- Perform skin rejuvenation using IPL and LASER systems
- Anatomy and physiology, health and safety, client care, and communication as part of the treatment process.
How will I be assessed ?
Course work, portfolio of evidence, case studies and summative practical assessment on a variety of salon clients over a period. Online tests may also be required.

Level 4 Diploma in hair reduction and skin rejuvenation using LASER and IPL systems.

Will I need an interview ?
Yes, you will need to meet with a member of Beauty Therapy staff for an interview and an initial assessment. Bring proof of full level 3 qualification and experience in the beauty therapy industry.
Any extra costs for equipment/materials ?
A Beauty uniform and shoes. Some basic beauty resources will be required for example bowls, tweezers, sponges. Textbook and stationary.
