What qualifications or experience do I need?
Applicants must be 19+ years old and have the following: GCSEs grade 7/8 - 3 (A-D) in English, maths and science, Level 1 basic skills in literacy and numeracy and a satisfactory reference. Good manual dexterity and good oral communication are also essential for this course.
What will I study ?
This course will cover a range of topics: manicure and pedicure, facial therapy, make-up techniques, depilatory waxing and lash and brow treatments. You will also learn the associated theory of anatomy and physiology.
How will I be assessed ?
Assessments will be oral, written and practical.
What qualifications could I achieve ?
On successful completion of this course, you will achieve a Beauty Therapy Diploma Level 2.
